1. Stirring is accomplished by a teflon rotor placed in the liquid to be stirred through a continuously variable speed regulator.
2. Body is made of mild steel finished in powder coated with a stainless steel top which serves as a hot plate.
3. In models with heating arrangement temperature is controlled by thermostat.
